MECAD has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a partnership with IssueOne.org and its network, The Council for American Democracy. This partnership will strengthen our ability to share our Maine experience at the national level, and with an emerging network of aligned state efforts to save our democracy. Specifically, we think Issue One’s distinguished history of cross-partisan work with members of Congress advocating for removing money from politics, and for free and fair elections, will be a great support to our efforts.
